Founded in 2023, Motivate Sportz is a youth-driven, family-backed brand built to inspire the next generation of athletes through confidence, hard work, and a motivated mindset.
Motivate Sportz was founded by Clayton Williams in Murrieta, California, with a simple vision: create premium-quality gear and apparel that motivates athletes while remaining affordable for families everywhere. From the company name and logo to the mission behind the brand, Clayton helped build a company created by athletes, for athletes.
With the support of his family - older brother Cody, older sister Kaylee, and parents Chris and Karina, Motivate Sportz has grown into more than just a brand. It’s a movement focused on inspiring athletes to believe in themselves, overcome adversity, and stay motivated both on and off the field.
Motivate Sportz is more than just gear, it’s a movement. A movement focused on positivity, confidence, hard work, and believing in yourself through every step of the journey.
CLAYTON WILLIAMS
Clayton Williams is the 16-year-old Co-Founder of Motivate Sportz and a dedicated student-athlete at Murrieta Valley High School, Class of 2028. A lifelong baseball player from Murrieta, California, Clayton turned his passion for the game and entrepreneurial mindset into the foundation of Motivate Sportz in 2023.
What started as Clayton’s vision quickly became the heart of the brand. From the original Motivate Sportz name and logo to the mission and culture behind the company, Clayton helped create a brand built by athletes, for athletes - centered around motivation, confidence, hard work, and belief in yourself.
Clayton’s goal from the beginning was to create premium-quality gear and apparel that inspires athletes while remaining accessible and affordable for families everywhere. That vision continues to shape Motivate Sportz today - combining performance, style, and motivation without the premium price tag.
As a young athlete actively competing himself, Clayton brings authentic energy, creativity, and perspective to the brand every day through product ideas, content creation, athlete engagement, and Project Motivate - a nationwide initiative focused on connecting with athletes through storytelling, live events, and community impact.
Whether he’s competing on the field or helping grow the brand behind the scenes, Clayton represents the mindset Motivate Sportz was built around.
Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about the gear - it’s about the mindset.
CODY WILLIAMS
Cody Williams is the Co-Founder and operational leader behind Motivate Sportz, helping transform a family idea into one of the fastest-growing youth-driven brands in baseball and softball. A former Division I college football player with six years of collegiate athletic experience, Cody brings a unique combination of leadership, discipline, competitive mindset, and business strategy to the company’s continued growth.
Cody earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing & Advertising from Portland State University and later completed his MBA in Business Administration through the University of Maine, combining both academic and real-world experience to help build and scale the Motivate Sportz brand.
With a deep passion for sports and entrepreneurship, Cody plays a major role in the day-to-day operations of Motivate Sportz — overseeing product development, partnerships, content creation, inventory management, marketing initiatives, and nationwide brand expansion. From coordinating new product launches to building relationships with athletes, coaches, teams, and industry partners, he helps bring the Motivate Sportz vision to life every day.
Cody is also a driving force behind Project Motivate, a coast-to-coast initiative designed to connect directly with the baseball and softball community through authentic storytelling, live events, athlete engagement, and content creation. His focus is building a brand that stands for more than products - one built around motivation, confidence, hard work, and opportunity for the next generation of athletes.
Together with his family, Cody continues helping lead Motivate Sportz forward with the mission of creating premium-quality gear, impactful experiences, and a culture that inspires athletes everywhere to stay motivated and chase greatness.
